Certified Worker
A Certified Worker is a worker who has completed an EPA approved course and has successfully passed the course examination. A Certified Worker has also obtained a license to perform work in the jurisdication the work will be performed. Licensed Certified Workers must have the following licenses to perform work in these areas:

North Dakota State of North Dakota Department of Health
South Dakota EPA
Montana EPA
Wyoming EPA
Minnesota State of Minnesota Department of Health
Tribal Lands EPA

Trained Worker
A Trained Worker is a worker who has completed an EPA approved course and has successfully completed the course examination. Typically these courses are 1-2 days in length and require no follow up licensing.
